Join Us in Supporting Cameroon’s Orphans and Widows
Our Mission
At Cameroon Children’s Ministry (CCM), we are driven by a passion to bring hope and transformation to orphaned children in Cameroon through the love of Jesus Christ. Our faith-based non-profit organization is dedicated to addressing the spiritual, physical, and educational needs of these vulnerable children. We strive to guide them on their journey to becoming disciples of Christ, ensuring that they not only find solace in His teachings but also gain the assurance of eternal life. Through God’s grace, we equip each child with essential skills and trades that empower them to support themselves and uplift their communities.
Our Process
-
Provide Aid for Orphans
In Cameroon, family ties are strong, and many orphans live with their relatives. However, these families often struggle to meet their own needs. When CCM identifies an orphan, we collaborate with their caretakers to invite them into our program. We then transport the child to the city for medical exams and HIV/AIDS testing. If necessary, we provide treatment and send the child home with food, clean water, and clothing.
-
Prioritize Continuous Care and Spiritual Growth
Our commitment extends beyond initial support—every week, our representatives visit each child to ensure their ongoing well-being and provide necessary resources. In times of illness, we facilitate medical care and support. Additionally, we organize Bible study sessions two to three times a week, fostering spiritual growth, encouraging questions, and nurturing a love for God's word.
-
Offer Education and Apprenticeship Programs.
Education is a cornerstone of our mission. When a child is ready to attend school, we coordinate their enrollment with local elementary institutions. Our education program spans six levels, and upon graduation, we offer apprenticeships in various trades such as carpentry, sewing, and plumbing. These opportunities empower our young adults to secure jobs and contribute meaningfully to their families and communities.
